A BeautifulLY Kept Secret

Today’s wedding venue feature is Netherstowe House: a quirky, intimate, family run boutique hotel in the beautiful cathedral city of Lichfield. The hotel is absolutely charming, with its unique styling and decor, with very attentive, helpful and friendly staff, I feel for the more intimate wedding or family gathering it provides the perfect backdrop. In July 2013 I photographed the wedding of Alison and Dave, who married at Lichfield Register Office, followed by a lovely reception at Netherstowe House.

The Wedding Party enjoyed drinks outside in the warm, sunny garden followed by an exquisite wedding breakfast in the main dining room. The hotel has a vintage feel about it, it is cosy and feels like a home from home, well a very luxurious home from home and can be hired out as an exclusive use venue!

TAKE A STEP BACK IN TIME

The Steakhouse Brasserie, located within the cellar , has old wooden walls covered in historical pictures and memorabilia faded with age. It creates a completely unique atmosphere and the dining experience has received some excellent reviews.

ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN

The sweeping driveway, beautiful floral displays and gorgeous architecture just creates a lovely English Country feel, perfect for spending time with your closest family and friends on your wedding day.

The guests enjoyed some light entertainment by ‘Close Up Magician’ Christian Fletcher after dinner as the sunshine settled and the day turned into evening, he wow’d them with some unexplainable tricks. It was a lovely, chilled out and relaxing environment for everyone to enjoy.
